Car Park Markings

by Debbie Mann

We've previously talked about why car park markings are good for customer service, but that's not all. Having allocated spaces for different types of visitors to your premises is important too.

Disabled bays, parent and child bays, no parking hatched areas, space for deliveries, drop off and pick up points all help to keep the traffic in and around the premises running smoothly.

Short stay bays, allocated staff parking and long stay options could also be considered depending on the needs of the business. If different businesses share a car park you could consider having your company logo marked on to your allocated parking bays to avoid confusion.

Car park markings don't need to be complicated, but they do need to suit the needs of the business - and those visiting it.
